Introduction
For this analysis, I collected 5 days' worth of issues from The Daily Tribune newspaper, covering the dates March 20-24, 2023. I closely read through the articles and opinion pieces in each issue, examining how the topics of class, caste, gender, minority, and ethnicity were represented and discussed.
Class
The coverage of class issues was fairly limited over the 5-day period. There were a few articles that touched on economic inequality and the challenges facing lower-income communities, such as a piece on the rising cost of living and its disproportionate impact on working-class families. However, there was little in-depth analysis or discussion of the systemic factors contributing to class divides.
