.عقد مجمس األمن جمسة لمناقشة أزمة سد النيضة الذي تبنيو إثيوبيا عمى مجرى نير النيل وسط اعت ارضات مصرية

وسودانية عمى ملء الخ ازن المائي دون اتفاق بين الدول الثالث.

ولم يصدر بعد أي قرار بشأن مشروع تقدمت به تونس لأعضاء مجلس الأمن يدعو إلى التوصل لاتفاق ملزم بين إثيوبيا والسودان ومصر بشأن تشغيل السد خلال ستة أشهر.

وتعترض مصر والسودان على ملء الخزان المائي من دون التوصل لاتفاق بين الدول الثلاث.

وشدد وفود باقي الدول الأعضاء في مجلس الأمن على دعمهم الوساطة الأفريقية لحل الخلافات حول الخزان المائي الإثيوبي.

. أعلنت الدول الـ 15 الأعضاء بالمجلس ضرورة إعادة المفاوضات تحت رعاية الاتحاد الأفريقي بشكل مكثف؛ لتوقيع اتفاق قانوني ملزم يلبي احتياجات الدول الثلاث ويؤدي إلى تخفيف التصعيد الذي يؤثر مباشرة على المنطقة والقارة الأفريقية.

 السفير ريتشارد ميلز، نائب ممثلة الولايات المتحدة الدائمة لدى الأمم المتحدة، أعرب عن أسف بلاده لأن المجلس لم يكن موحدا في التصويت على مشروع القرار الأمريكي، قائلا إن بلاده تتطلع إلى العمل مع جميع أعضاء المجلس لدعم إيجاد سلام دائم.

 ودعا الطرفين إلى إظهار التزامهما بالسلام من خلال الانخراط في العملية السياسية، دون شروط مسبقة وبحسن نية، ومن خلال اتخاذ خطوات لتهدئة التوترات ووقف الأعمال العدائية".

 وأكد أن الولايات المتحدة تنوي بذل كل ما في وسعها المساعدة السيد دي ميستورا والعملية السياسية التي يقودها الآن

 وحث الأطراف والدول المجاورة والشركاء الدوليين، بما في ذلك المجلس بأكمله، على التعامل مع السيد دي ميستورا بشكل بناء وبحسن نية.

 وقال إنه فيما تدعم بلاده المبعوث الشخصي، ستواصل التشاور بشكل خاص حول أفضل السبل لتحقيق حل واقعي وعملي ودائم ومقبول للطرفين للصراع على أساس التسوية. هذا الحل السياسي حيوي لتعزيز مستقبل سلمي ومزدهر الشعوب المنطقة.

 The National Research Foundation was launched in March 2008 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Individuals or teams of researchers from public and private universities, research institutes and firms may apply for competitive grants.

 To be approved, research proposals must survive international peer review and prove that they offer socio-economic benefits. The United Arab Emirates University is the country's premier source of scientific research.

Through its research centers, it has contributed significantly to the country's development of water and petroleum resources, solar and other renewable energies and medical sciences. Since 2010, the university has filed at least 55 invention patents.

As of June 2014, about 20 patents had been granted to the university.
