The Johari Window is a psychological tool developed by psychologists Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham in 1955. It is a framework used to understand and improve interpersonal communication and relationships. The term "Johari" is derived from a combination of their first names, Joe and Harry.

The Johari Window consists of a four-quadrant grid, which represents the individual's self-awareness and the information known to oneself and others. Each quadrant reflects a different aspect of an individual's personality and is based on two dimensions: self-disclosure and feedback from others.
