1. Prevention of Hypothermia:

Preventing hypothermia in newborns involves ensuring a warm environment, proper clothing, and skin-to-skin contact. The following strategies can be implemented:

a. Warm Environment: Maintain a thermally neutral environment in the delivery room and neonatal unit. Ensure the room temperature is between 23°C to 26°C (73°F to 78°F) and use radiant warmers or incubators to provide additional warmth.

b. Proper Clothing: Dress newborns in appropriate layers of clothing, including hats and socks, to minimize heat loss through the skin.
