Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a premier Open and Distance Learning (ODL) institution in India that offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online mode. In order to ensure the academic integrity of the courses offered by the University, IGNOU has made it mandatory for its students to submit assignments for each course code.
Assignment Submission Process:
The assignment submission process has already begun for the June 2023 session from 1st March 2023 for all students of ODL mode and Online mode. It is mandatory for both ODL and OL programme mode students to submit an assignment for each course code. The online programme (OL) learner needs to submit the assignment on the Learning Management System (LMS), while the ODL mode student needs to submit the assignment at their respective study centers only.
Submission Deadline:
The last date for IGNOU assignment submission for the June 2023 session is 30th April 2023, which is the current session of TEE. It is essential for students to submit their assignments before the deadline to be eligible for appearing in the examination. All the old or new learners who are eligible for submission can submit the assignment for the current session. July 2022 admission students can submit their IGNOU assignments in March/April 2023 for TEE June 2023 session.
Neat and Legible Assignment Response:
Submitting neat and legible assignment responses can help students to fetch extra scores. It is important to understand that the evaluation of the assignments is done by the evaluators manually. Therefore, the response should be written in a neat and legible format, with appropriate headings, subheadings, and spacing. The answer should be written in the student's own words and should not be copied from any other source.

The assignment should be written in blue or black ink only.
The student's enrollment number, name, and address should be mentioned on the first page of the assignment.

The assignment should be submitted before the deadline at the respective study center.
