IGNOU Important Notice: Online Submission Deadline for Final Project/Dissertation/Internship Reports - 31 May 2024

Attention all students! The final date for the online submission of your Project/Dissertation/Internship Reports for the June 2024 Term End Examination (TEE) is 31 May 2024. This guideline applies to all submissions except for the DECE04 course of the DECE programme, for which a separate online link will be provided.

Key Guidelines for Online Submission

To streamline the process and facilitate smooth submissions, the University has adopted an online mode for submitting final Project/Dissertation/Practicum Files/Internship Reports. Here are the detailed guidelines you need to follow:

General Instructions

1. Prepare Your Project Report: Your Project Report should be based on the approved Project proposal, adhering to the new project guidelines. Incomplete submissions will not be evaluated and will be removed from the portal post-deadline.

2. No Email Submissions: Only online submissions through the designated portal will be considered. Reports submitted via email will not be entertained.

3. Complete Documentation: Ensure that your submission includes the approved proposal proforma, the “Synopsis,” the Bio-data of the Project Guide, and the originality certificate signed by both the student and the Project Guide.

4. Clear and Proper Scans: When uploading your Project Report, ensure that all scanned pages are clear, well-lit, and in the correct sequence. The orientation should be consistent (not switching between portrait and landscape).

5. Approval from Guide/Supervisor: Obtain approval from your Guide/Supervisor in the prescribed proforma before submitting online. For synopsis approval, forward your Project proposal to the relevant School or Regional Centre. Contact details are available on the IGNOU website under the Regional Network and School of Studies sections.

Specific Requirements

1. Single PDF File: The Original Project Report must be scanned into a single PDF file per subject/course. This ensures that the Regional Centre/Student Evaluation Division can download and process it easily.

2. Correct First Page Details: The first page of your PDF file must include:

   • Title of the Project Report/Dissertation/Internship/Practicum
   • Your Name
   • Programme Code
   • Enrolment Number (as on your ID card)
   • Regional Centre Code
   • Course Code(s)
   • Mobile Number & Email ID

3. Non-compliant Submissions: If your Project Report does not meet the guidelines, it will not be considered for evaluation, and no notification will be sent. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance.

4. Viva-Voce: The viva-voce for your Project Report/Internship Report will be conducted under specific guidelines by the concerned Faculties at the Regional Centre. Contact your Regional Centre for details.

Important Contacts and Fees

• Queries: For any issues regarding your submitted Project/Dissertation/Practicum File/Internship report, email your Regional Centre (details available on the IGNOU website) or the SED (Project Section) at projects@ignou.ac.in.

• Project Evaluation Fees:

  • Up to 4 credit project work: Rs. 300
  • Above 4 credits project work: Rs. 500
  • This fee is payable along with the Term End Examination form. A copy of the payment receipt must be included with your Project Report submission.

Final Reminder

The last date for the online submission of your Project/Dissertation/Internship Reports is 31 May 2024. Ensure that all requirements are met and documents are in order to avoid any delays or rejections.
