To create your Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) account, follow these steps:




  1. Visit the ABC website at www.abc.digilocker.gov.in.

  2. Click on My Account → Login as Student.

  3. Click on Sign up with DigiLocker.

  4. Enter your valid mobile number. An OTP will be sent to your phone number via SMS.

  5. Enter the OTP and click on the Continue button.

  6. Enter the Security PIN set created during Sign Up and click the Submit Button.

  7. Once logged in, select Create APAAR/ABC ID.

  8. Select your University and click on Generate APAAR/ABC ID.



After these steps, you can accumulate credits by logging into abc.gov.in. The credits earned by students will be deposited in their ABC ‘Academic Account.’ If the student moves to a different institution, the accumulated credits get transferred to the account of the new institution.



Please note that the final outcomes of credit redemption and issuance of certificates, as well as the compilation of award records, are administered by academic institutions via the National Academic Depository (NAD) Platform. Therefore, Academic Institutions must mandatorily register themselves under ABC via NAD
