1. 
   

   Subject Change:

   
   
   
   
   
   • You can request a change in subjects or electives within 30 days from receiving the first set of IGNOU Study Material.
   
   
   • Address this request to the concerned Regional Centre.
   
   
   • The fees for subject change are as follows:
     
     
     
     • For undergraduate courses:
       
       
       
       • Rs. 350 per 2 or 4 credit course.
       
       
       • Rs. 700 per 6 or 8 credit course.
       
       
       
       
     
     
     • For Master Degree Courses:
       
       
       
       • Rs. 600 per 2 or 4 credit course.
       
       
       • Rs. 1200 per 6 or 8 credit course.
       
       
       
       
     
     
     
     
   
   
   
   


2. 
   

   Programme Change:

   
   
   
   
   
   • For Bachelor’s Degree Courses, you can change your program (e.g., from BA to BCom/BTS/BSW or vice versa) within 30 days from the last date of applying for admission.
   
   
   • Payment details:
     
     
     
     • Rs. 600 plus Rs. 350 per 2 or 4 credit courses.
     
     
     • Rs. 700 per 6 or 8 credit course.
     
     
     • If changing from BA/BCom to BTS/BSW, pay the difference in fees.
     
     
     
     
   
   
   • No change is allowed from BA/BCom/BTS/BSW to BSc.
   
   
   • For Master Degree Courses, program change is permitted only in the first year within 30 days from the last date of applying for admission. You’ll need to pay the full program fees.

   • You can change the medium of instruction within 30 days from receiving the first set of study materials in the first year.
